Started working on the Naomi cabinet this week. My god its filthy! Looks like at some point in the past someone spilled a whole cup of Coke into the control system. Well it might have been Pepsi but I wasn’t willing to give it a taste, We’ll see what the lab says. It got into all the controls, the overlay, instruction area and then set firm in the left side pocket.

Some new parts arrived today. From Giz10p I got a new control panel plate, overlay and 6 button wiring harness.
From Gremlin Solutions I got a full set of Sanwa pushbuttons in white and matching ball tops for the Seimitsu joysticks.

Lots done already, more info and photos to follow.

Look what I got today…

All in place and working great. Needs a very good clean. I’m going to convert it to a 6 button Net City setup and install a Dreamcast alongside the original Naomi board.

My EverDrive64 had been dispatched from Retrogate and is on the way!

The EverDrive64 is a new flash cartridge for the Nintendo 64 console by Krikzz. Really looking forward to this. I’ll update when it arrives.

I’ve been getting back into the N64 lately in perpetration for the Everdrive64, and had a go at the most important mod you can do on the system. RGB picture enhancement. The catch of-course is that you can only do this on some NTSC model’s.

Lucky for my I had one laying around then!
